Dark ruby with violet rim, dark berries and cassis on the palate with vivacious acidity, good balance, soft tannins in the finish, good ageing potential, very typical St. Laurent, matches particularly well with soft cheese made of raw milk, air-dried ham and above all venison.

- Expected more for the price
For someone who loves this grape this wine wasn't so much a disappointment but from this winemaker I expected more for the price. Good Wine -Yes; Very Good Wine No; I have tasted wines from this grape from this country that are so much better. But having said that the wine was enjoyable if not Outstanding. Judith Beck is a superb wine maker but for me just a 4/5 for this wine.
