    A blend of the following grapes: Cinsault (70%), Marsellan (15%), Grenache (15%). Clear and brilliant colour with a tinge of peach and salmon pink. The nose expresses ripe fruit overtones – strawberry, quince – together with scattered overtones of grilled almond. A well-balanced mouth.   5. Schatz - Rosado

    ELABORATION: 5 months of ageing “sur lie” with “batonnage”* in French oak barrels (Never).*Ageing on natural fine lees, which is raised at regular intervals during a period of time between 2 - 6 months.

    COLOUR: Rubi rose, with violet rims.

    NOSE: Rose petals, cherries, black currants and strawberries.

    MOUTH: Very fresh and sweet nose, with an intense and balanced minerality and slight licorice. Elegant and powerful fresh berry flavour. Long finish with a harmonious acidity. Very pleasant.

    CLIMATOLOGY: This was a very dry and cold winter. Just dropping 37 L in January, February and half of March, with some snow, freezing every morning to -10 ° C. The outbreak began in the first week of April, about 15 days later than other years. Flowering began on 27.05.12 and ended on 07.06.12. The summer was long, hot and dry. Vintage started the 23.08.12 and ended the 15.09.12. Harvest of excellent quality, but in some varieties 30% less production due to drought in spring. It has been the driest winter in 40 years and wettest autumn (458 L) of the last 30.
