A juicy fresh Riesling, as it brings forth the Rhine terrace lively acidity! Fine pineapple and apricot fruit and a delicate Schieferaromatik combine to create an animated drinking wine that pairs beautifully with fish. Or simply if you fancy a drink of good Riesling. Since a bottle is gone in no time. Our reference wine!
David Schildknecht wrote about the wine in the Feb2013 issue of the Wine Advocate...
"Gillot’s 2011 Riesling trocken Qvinterra delivers a rather prosaic but attractively juicy message of fresh lemon and peach on an intriguingly waxy palate. This compact, relatively straightforward, Oppenheim-based generic has never tasted better than in this vintage, and should drink well for at least a couple of years."
