A mixed case of the following wines: Rose (2015), Festejo, Red (2013) and La Chapelle.
Rose (2015): A blend of the following grapes: Cinsault (65%), Caladoc (15%), Grenache (10%) Merlot (10%). The nose is intense and expresses fruity as well as floral overtones: peach, strawberry, mango, white flowers. Roundness appears first in the mouth, followed by the intense fruity overtones noticed in the nose, and an appealing freshness in the finale
Festejo: A blend of the following grapes: Cinsault (70%), Marsellan (15%), Grenache (15%). Clear and brilliant colour with a tinge of peach and salmon pink. The nose expresses ripe fruit overtones – strawberry, quince – together with scattered overtones of grilled almond. A well-balanced mouth. Fruity overtones are definitely there with red currant and crystallised fruit. The finish in the mouth is all freshness
Red (2013): A blend of the following grapes: Grenache (50 %), Syrah (12,5%), Merlot (12,5%), Cabernet Sauvignon (12,5%), Marsellan (12,5%). Intense garnet red colour.The nose expresses red and black fruit overtones-black currant, blackberry.The mouth is structured with still young tannins. The black fruit and spices overtones as well as the final freshness characterise this wine.
La Chapelle: A blend of the following grapes: Grenache (42%), Syrah (21%), Merlot (16%), Cabernet Sauvignon (13%), Caladoc (8%). The nose expresses jammy black fruits overtones – blackcurrant, blackberry – amongst other spicy and smoked overtones. The mouth is structured with elegant tannins. The character of the wine is enhanced by the jammy black fruit, cinnamon and liquorice as well as toasted overtones. A well-balanced wine with a good length, which should age well.
