Availability: In stock

A 6 bottle mixed case consisting of the following wines: Sensation 1997 (Brut) and Sensation 1995 (Brut).

Sensation 1997 (Brut): A blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay. Dosage of 8g/L. Date of Disgorgement April 11, 2012. “This champagne, with a light golden color, has an expressive nose of dried fruit, with discrete notes of candied pineapple and bread crusts. With aeration it is enriched with notes of honey, nougat, and apple tart. The palate is generous, opulent, and rich with an astonishing freshness which persists in the mouth. A champagne which presents an excellent balance. A real discovery!” Gault et Millau. 17/20

Sensation 1995 (Brut): A blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay. Dosage of 8g/L. Date of Disgorgement October 10, 2011. Cuvée “Sensation 1995” was left to mature for over 18 years in our cellar. This maturation allowed the development of the subtlety and aromatic complexity of this champagne. In this way, having improved year after year in the cellar, its character, fruit and finesse prove that it was judicious to wait. “Now at its peak, the vintage cuvée “Sensation 1995” offers you an “intense nose of candied fruits, hazelnut, sweet almond and hot butter. The mouth captures a perfect balance of magnitude and aromatics. As always, there is a crystalline acidity on the finish which marks the purity of all of their champagnes.” Geoffrey Orban, European Vice Ambassador of Champagne
